Embracing and caring for our children born diffeent amidist the covid 19 scare!!!

Today we celebrate SIMON (as he turns six years) whose life inspired the formation of lexi & Simon creations Ltd.

Simon was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at eleven months which affected the left part of his brain making it hard for him to use his right hand and leg. He was recommended to do physiotherapy so as to be able to gain strength on his right hand side if he was to walk.

It has been a very painful yet rewarding journey of daily physiotherapy sessions and he was able to walk at two years. Even after this milestone, we are still doing daily physiotherapy sessions because there is still so much that we would like to see him achieve.

The doctor recommended the use of PLAY CLAY which was not readily available and through research and many trials we finally came through with our PLAY CLAY product that was introduced in 2019. We hope to use this platform to create more awareness on cerebral palsy, empower and build self-esteem for our young ones born different.

To parents whose children have similar or worse challenges all i can say is “IT IS WELL” stop taking pity on yourself and go out there and seek all the possible medical help for these angels because its only you who has the capacity to do so irrespective of your situation because God cannot give us situations that we can’t bear. You have so much potential and let your son/daughter challenge and encourage you to live it all out for them.
