Reasons why shoes will boost your confidence

A lot can be learnt/said/concluded/perceived about what we wear. To grownups, some of the multi-faceted complexities of fashion and dress code may not be that serious as it’s the case with the younger generation. As a person grows, they’ll reach a stage of self-acceptance and how they wear may no longer be of concern, better still be unaffected by the comments made by third parties about their sense of fashion.

Much as fashion sense, dress code and appearance may not have an effect on these old men and women, it may have serious implications when we shift to a younger generation [10 years to 32 years]. Consequently, this goes a long way in affecting their levels of confidence, esteem and self-appreciation. Now, that’s where we’re going to build our argument from.

Did you know that the most conspicuous thing on one’s full attire are his/her shoes? Well, if you didn’t, now you do. Shoes are a very important aspect when it comes to dress code and/or sense of fashion. People react differently to comments made about what they’re wearing [coats, watches, pants, sweaters] and without doubt, shoes take the lion’s share in regards to one’s reaction and/feelings.

Now that we know that the importance of shoes goes as far as having an effect on one’s emotional state, it’d be in the best interest to link shoes to one’s confidence and esteem. Unlike grownups who could have either lost it all or gained it all, young people, especially school going children need a great deal nurturing & grooming when it comes to their confidence. How a child reacts or perceives a “you have a nice pair of shoes” comment from any other person is far from a grownup’s reaction and/or perception. A grownup may simply smile, walk away and take it lightly, a child might smile the whole day, move around school with confidence and feel better about himself/herself. The difference here is what I’d baptize “the confidence gap”. Whereas a grownup might not take it serious, young people [children] gain a lot from credits.

Confidence and self-belief are very crucial aspects when it comes to one’s extent of success; be it academic or any other thing. If you can find a way of enhancing your child’s confidence and esteem, do it without a second’s thought. Buy him/her that cool shoe.

As a matter of fact, buy him/her a pair from Bravo Shoes. That’s all we can say.
